The Los Angeles Dodgers will not start Jason Heyward in Thursday's game against the San Francisco Giants.
Heyward will take the night off while the Dodgers have Amed Rosario cover second base and Mookie Betts play in right field. Rosario is listed sixth in the batting order.
Heyward's bounce back year has been a huge help to the Dodgers' offense this season. He's batting .276 with 15 homers, 55 runs, 40 RBI, and 2 stolen bases across 347 plate appearances and holds a strong .848 OPS.
