Chicago White Sox infielder Tim Anderson is not in the lineup on Wednesday afternoon against right-hander Brandon Pfaadt and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Anderson will sit for the second time in three games after going 1-for-12 with 5 strikeouts over his last three appearances. Elvis Andrus will cover shortstop and leadoff duty for Anderson while Zach Remillard starts on the keystone and bats ninth.
numberFire’s models project Andrus ($5,000) for 9.7 FanDuel points on Wednesday's single-game slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox's implied total is 4.22 and the game total is 9.5. Pfaadt is limiting his walks this season (6.5%), but he has an underwhelming 21.6% strikeout rate with a hard-hit rate in the bottom 12th percentile of the league.
