Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Jake McCarthy has been added to the lineup on Wednesday afternoon against right-hander Luis Patino and the Chicago White Sox.
McCarthy will start in right field and hit seventh after Lourdes Gurriel was scratched minutes before first pitch.
