The Seattle Mariners did not list Sam Haggerty in their starting lineup for Friday's game against the Texas Rangers.
Haggerty will catch a breather Friday while the Mariners have Mike Ford start at DH and bat sixth.
Haggerty hit for a .250 average over 104 plate appearances this season.
