The Chicago Cubs will not have Cody Bellinger in their starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Bellinger will take the final day of the season off while Pete Crow-Armstrong covers centerfield and bats leadoff.
Bellinger has enjoyed a rejuvenating year, batting .307 with a .881 OPS over 556 plate appearances. The former MVP returned to form after multiple brutal seasons, adding 26 homers, 95 runs, 97 RBI, and 20 stolen bases to his career tallies.
