Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Emmet Sheehan (shoulder) will begin the 2024 season on the injured list.
Sheehan, who was expected to feature in the Dodgers' starting rotation to begin the season, will be unavailable due to shoulder soreness. He did throw a bullpen session earlier this week, his first since his shoulder soreness began, but he will start the season on the injured list.
In 60.3 innings pitched last season, Sheehan recorded a 4.92 ERA with 64 strikeouts, 26 walks, and a 1.19 WHIP.
