New York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil (biceps) is starting at second base and batting cleanup in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
McNeil is making his spring debut for the Mets after sitting out with a left biceps issue. He will get in some reps over the next week while gearing up for Opening Day against the Milwaukee Brewers.
numberFire's models project McNeil to record a .274 batting average and .706 OPS this season, with 7 homers, 26 doubles, 52 RBI, 61 runs scored, and 5 steals across 564 plate appearances.
