The Minnesota Twins will have Austin Martin make the first start of his career in centerfield in Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Martin received his call-up after the Twins placed third baseman Royce Lewis on the IL with a quad injury. He will start in centerfield and bat ninth in his debut while Byron Buxton switches to DH, Ryan Jeffers moves behind home plate, and Christian Vazquez sits.
Martin has a $2,000 salary on FanDuel for his debut and will bat against Royals right-hander Brady Singer, who logged a 5.52 ERA last year.
