The Tampa Bay Rays did not list Isaac Paredes as a starter for Monday's game against the Texas Rangers.
Paredes will take the afternoon off after starting in each of the Rays' games so far this season. Curtis Mead will cover third base and bat sixth.
Paredes is projected for 22 homers, 61 runs, 67 RBI, and a .235 average over 531 plate appearances this season.
