Milwaukee Brewers infielder/outfielder Jake Bauers will start on first base and bat fifth in Tuesday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Louie Varland and the Minnesota Twins.
Bauers will return to action for his second start of the season after sitting out Sunday's series finale against the New York Mets. He went 0-for-5 with 4 strikeouts in his first start of the season. Rhys Hoskins will serve as the designated hitter on Tuesday and Oliver Dunn will replace Joey Ortiz on third base.
Bauers has a $5,000 salary on the Tuesday single-game slate and numberFire's models project him for 8.2 FanDuel points.
