Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Joc Pederson is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the New York Yankees.
Pederson will move to the bench on Tuesday with Blaze Alexander starting at designated hitter. Alexander will bat second versus left-hander Nestor Cortes and the Yankees.
