Minnesota Twins infielder Kyle Farmer is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Tanner Bibee and the Cleveland Guardians.
Farmer will return to the bench after starting on third base last game. Willi Castro will start on the hot corner Thursday, while Byron Buxton will man the outfield and Alex Kirilloff will serve as the designated hitter. Matt Wallner will start in left field and hit seventh.
numberFire's models project Castro for 9.0 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins-Guardians game total (7.0) is the lowest in the majors today.
