Cleveland Guardians utility player David Fry will start at designated hitter and bat third in Monday afternoon's series opener against left-handed opener Tanner Banks and the Chicago White Sox.
The right-handed hitting Fry will move up in the order to counter the White Sox opening with a southpaw. The left-handed hitting Andres Gimenez will move down and bat seventh.
Fry has a $5,500 salary on Monday's single-game slate and numberFire's models project him for 8.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Guardians are one of three teams in the majors today with an implied total above 5.0.
