The Miami Marlins did not list Jesus Sanchez as a starter for Monday's game against the New York Yankees.
Sanchez will take a seat as the Marlins gear up to take on left-hander Nestor Cortes. Avisail Garcia will take over in right field and bat sixth.
Sanchez has had a sluggish start to the season, batting .190 with no home runs across his first 22 plate appearances. He has, however, already stolen 2 bases, 1 short of his career record. That could help steady his fantasy value as he finds his swing.
