The Miami Marlins did not include Nick Gordon in their lineup for Monday's game against the New York Yankees.
Gordon will take a seat against left-handed pitcher Nestor Cortes. The Marlins will shuffle around some players to make room for Emmanuel Rivera to join the lineup at third base and bat seventh.
Gordon is projected for 235 more plate appearances this season, with 2 home runs, 28 runs, 20 RBI, 8 stolen bases, and a .298 batting average.
