The Miami Marlins will not have Jazz Chisholm in their starting lineup for Monday's game against the New York Yankees.
Chisholm will start Monday's game on the sidelines as the Marlins take on left-handed pitcher Nestor Cortes. Chisholm had started each of Miami's prior games (even against left-handers), so it will be worth monitoring his starts against lefties going forward. Vidal Brujan will take over for Chisholm in centerfield.
Chisholm helped snap the Marlins' losing streak in yesterday's game against the Cardinals, hitting a 3-run homer to get the scoring started. He's batting just .206 to start the year, but has plenty of time to turn that around.
