Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Edward Olivares is not in the lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Reese Olson and the Detroit Tigers.
Andrew McCutchen will replace Olivares at designated hitter and bat fifth. Connor Joe will start in right field and hit seventh again for the Pirates.
