The Cincinnati Reds did not list Bubba Thompson as a starter for Monday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Thompson will take a seat Monday while the Reds give Will Benson a shot at hitting eighth against left-hander Aaron Ashby.
Thompson is already up to 4 stolen bases on the season, flashing his elite speed on the base paths. He has only seen 7 plate appearances and could struggle for playing time, but could keep seeing pinch running opportunities.
