San Francisco Giants infielder Wilmer Flores will start on first base and bat second in Monday's series opener against right-hander Trevor Williams and the Washington Nationals.
Flores hit fifth in his previous five starts this season, but he will enter the lineup and work out of the two-hole on Monday. LaMonte Wade Jr. will shift to left field and hit third. Jorge Soler will bat cleanup for the first time this season.
Flores is currently numberFire's third-best point-per-dollar value among batters on Monday. He has a $2,700 salary and our models project him for 12.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Giants-Nationals game total (7.5) is tied for the lowest on the board.
