The Tampa Bay Rays will have Curtis Mead start at second base for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
The Rays will have Mead and his right-handed bat join the lineup to take on left-handed pitcher Tyler Anderson on Monday. Mead will bat sixth while Brandon Lowe rests.
Mead has posted a quiet .313 batting average across his opening 18 plate appearances this season and could add to his tallies against the Angels tonight.
