Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Tanner Houck and the Boston Red Sox.
Moniak will sit following six straight starts. Aaron Hicks will replace Moniak in right field and hit fifth.
