Miami Marlins pitcher Edward Cabrera (shoulder) will be activated from the injured list and start in Monday's series opener against the San Francisco Giants.
The Marlins planned on Cabrera making one more rehab start before joining the rotation, but things changed after A.J. Puk was scratched from Monday's start due to illness. The 26-year-old right-hander allowed 2 runs (1 earned) across 12 2/3 innings in three rehab starts, and he recorded 12 strikeouts with 8 walks.
numberFire's models project Cabrera for 33.6 FanDuel points over five-plus innings on Monday.
