Colorado Rockies first baseman/right fielder Kris Bryant (back/ribs) is not in the lineup again for Monday's series opener against right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Bryant will be on the bench again after leaving Saturday's game early versus the Toronto Blue Jays due to soreness in his right rib cage and back. Elehuris Montero will make another start on first base, while Michael Toglia will start in right field and hit eighth. Charlie Blackmon will shift to designated hitter and Elias Diaz will start at catcher over Jacob Stallings.
numberFire's models project Toglia for 7.9 and Montero for 7.8 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies' implied total (3.34) is third-worst in the majors today.
