The Washington Nationals optioned infielder Trey Lipscomb to Triple-A ahead of Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Lipscomb will head back down to Triple-A now that Nick Senzel (thumb) is ready to rejoin his teammates. The rookie made 55 plate appearances in his first stint in the Majors.
Lipscomb managed to steal 4 bases in his limited chances while averaging .224 at the plate.
