Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Gabriel Moreno (thumb) has been scratched from Wednesday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
For the second game in a row, Moreno has been scratched from the starting lineup. Tucker Barnhart will catch for right-hander Brandon Pfaadt and bat eighth versus left-hander Jordan Wicks and the Cubs.
In 15 plate appearances this season, Barnhart is batting 0.250 with 2 runs and 1 stolen base.
