Tampa Bay Rays infielder Richie Palacios is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Palacios will move to the bench on Wednesday. Curtis Mead will start at second base and bat eighth versus left-hander Reid Detmers and the Angels.
