Minnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach will start in left field and bat cleanup in Friday's series opener against right-hander Jack Flaherty and the Detroit Tigers.
Larnach made his season debut this week and went 1-for-6 with a strikeout while batting fifth and sixth. He will move into the cleanup role on Friday and Byron Buxton will bump down to fifth.
numberFire's models project Larnach for 9.4 and Buxton for 8.5 FanDuel points on Friday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins' implied total (3.78) is No. 22 in the majors today, while the game total (7.0) is the lowest on the board.
