Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene is not starting in Friday's lineup against the Minnesota Twins.
Greene will watch from the bench after Kerry Carpenter was moved to left field, Mark Canha was named Detroit's designated hitter, and Wenceel Pérez was aligned in right.
Per Baseball Savant on 45 batted balls this season, Greene has accounted for a .219 expected average and a 15.6% usage rate.
