The Detroit Tigers did not list Buddy Kennedy as a starter for Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Kennedy made his first start of the season on Sunday, filling in at second base while rookie Colt Keith caught a breather. With Keith back in the lineup Monday, Kennedy will take a seat.
Kennedy took advantage of his first start of the year, launching a home run in one of his four plate appearances. He struck out once, but scored three RBI while drawing a walk during the game.
