Phillies' Jeremy Hellickson leaves start early with forearm cramp

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson was lifted from Sunday's start versus the Nationals with a right forearm cramp.

What It Means:

Hellickson had thrown five shutout innings, allowing just one hit and one walk while tossing 70 pitches. He felt something off while throwing warm-up pitched prior to the sixth inning and was pulled for what appears to be precautionary reasons. If it is truly just a cramp, Hellickson should be good to go for his next start.

Hellickson is off to a hot start with only seven hits, one run, and two walks allowed in 10 innings pitched to start the season for a 0.90 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and a 1-0 record.
