The Seattle Mariners have removed first baseman Danny Valencia (wrist) from the lineup on Tuesday, per Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle.
Valencia will now miss his third consecutive game with the wrist injury and is in danger of being put on the DL as the injury hasn't healed three days off. Taylor Motter replaces Valencia in the lineup and at first on Tuesday.
Motter is batting .223 with a .723 OPS and .311 wOBA in 133 plate appearances this season.
