New York Mets star pitcher Jacob deGrom endured his worst start of the season Monday against the Philadelphia Phillies, allowing six earned runs over 2 2/3 innings.
deGrom hadn't given up six runs in either of the past two months, but the Phillies got to him in this one. He surrendered eight hits and walked three while fanning three.
His FIP jumps to 2.96, which still ranks 15th among starting pitchers. We have him projected for a 2.86 ERA the rest of the way.
