New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was lifted from Sunday's loss to the Colorado Rockies due to a sore quadriceps.
Cespedes said the early exit was a precautionary move but the veteran isn't sure if he'll be available for tonight's series opener against the Cincinnati Reds. Either way, this doesn't sound like the type of thing that will require a stint on the disabled list. Brandon Nimmo replaced Cespedes in left field on Sunday.
Cespedes is averaging 11.2 FanDuel points through 32 games this season while slashing .246/.306/.451 with 7 home runs and 26 RBI across 134 plate appearances.
