Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi has been placed on the bereavement list.
Benintendi will miss the rest of the weekend series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Sam Travis was recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket in a corresponding roster move.
Benintendi is averaging 13.5 FanDuel points through 91 games this season while slashing .297/.380/.517 with 14 home runs, 57 RBI, 68 runs scored, and 17 steals across 405 plate appearances.
