In what was set to be a competitive and exciting matchup between two of the NBA's premier clubs, Kawhi Leonard helped to spoil the fun. Just over eight minutes into the game, the Raptors had scored just 12 points on the Spurs. Leonard, on the other hand, got his team out to a comfortable lead early.

Toronto made every attempt to make the game somewhat competitive, but it never really happened. The Spurs won the contest by 28 points, thanks in large part to Leonard's overall contributions.
Leonard added 12 more points to his fast start, for a total of 25 on 8 for 12 shooting and 5 of 7 from long range. His offensive rating of 170.2 led Spurs starters while his defensive rating -- plus 3 blocks and 2 steals -- of 87 placed him second among the first five. His 58.56 nERD in only 28 minutes serves as evidence of just how much of an impact he had on the blowout win.
