The 10 Best NBA Seasons by Teenagers
Which players have posted the best single-season numbers before reaching their 20th birthday?

4. Thaddeus Young, Philadelphia 76ers (2007-08)

Prior to Sam Hinkie and the whole rebuilding process in Philadelphia, there was Andre Iguodala and Andre Miller, among others. In that time, the 76ers made four playoff appearances in five years. The first year came after acquiring Thaddeus Young in the 2007 draft.

Young only started 22 games, but he appeared in 74 and contributed 8.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 21 minutes per game. He hit 53.9% of his shots from the floor and 73.8% from the line. He was very efficient in his supporting role with the team.

Young averaged .140 win shares per 48 minutes -- second to only Iguodala in that metric. The Sixers won 40 games and lost in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Young showed great improvement in his second season and has since been a valuable NBA starter for three other teams.
