3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Basketball Plays for 2/2/17
Paul Millsap has been in a bit of a slump recently, which should keep his ownership low amid a deep power forward player pool. Who else is likely to fly under the radar?

JaVale McGee, C, Golden State Warriors

FanDuel Price: $3,500

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

JaVale McGee is more well-known for his legendary YouTube clips than his performance on the court, and even as a minimum-priced starter, he likely won't carry heavy ownership tonight.

Instead, attention will likely be spread between the likes of Dwight Howard against his former team, the resurgent Marcin Gortat in a plus-matchup against the Lakers, or the up-and-coming rookie Ivica Zubac.

Why You Should Use Him:

Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are great and all, but it has been McGee, not them, who ranks second to Kevin Durant in FanDuel points per minute (1.23) this season, per nbawowy.com. He's been especially efficient recently, averaging 1.42 FanDuel points per minute over his past six games. While the Golden State Warriors likely don't want to, they are likely going to be forced to give McGee at least 20 minutes to contend with the physical frontcourt of the Los Angeles Clippers, assuming he can stay out of foul trouble.

In just 17 minutes against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, the big fella scored 9 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and collected 4 blocks, good for 20.8 FanDuel points. Against a Clippers team that has allowed the ninth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers, McGee should have no trouble reaching value at his price tag if he sees near 20 minutes.

He's a risky cash-game option, but his upside per dollar is through the roof, so feel free to target him liberally in tournaments.
