FanDuel Price: $9,000
Kyle Lowry is coming off of his first triple-double of the season, and the point guard has been doing a bit of everything for the Toronto Raptors with DeMar DeRozan sidelined. He's now averaging 45.1 FanDuel points over his past seven games, a stretch during which he has dipped below 40 FanDuel points just once.
He should continue to shoulder the load in what should be a high-scoring and competitive game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers have decent numbers against point guards on the year, but with Chris Paul out of the lineup, they're much easier to attack at that position. While Paul ranks first among point guards in defensive real plus-minus (DRPM) by a wide margin, fill-in point guard Austin Rivers ranks 79th among 86 qualified point guards in DRPM.
Be sure to keep an eye on DeRozan's status. If he does end up sitting out again, Lowry is one of the best plays on the entire slate at his price. Our projections agree with that assessment, listing Lowry as the best value at point guard among the eight "studs" with a salary over $8,000.
