On the same night as Hayward's big game, LeBron James had himself a perfect night as well. In a 28-point win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, James flirted with a triple-double, posting 27 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds in the contest. He took just 14 shots, of which he connected on 11, including a three-pointer.
On the contrary, James was just 4 for 7 from the charity stripe. In spite of that, however, he still earned a true shooting percentage of 79% to go with an offensive rating of 156.5.
Per the usual, James was also among the team's leaders in defensive rating, allowing just 97.7 points per 100 possessions. He grabbed two steals and blocked one shot, which, couple with his offensive output, certainly gave him the right to call himself game MVP. His 52.08 nERD says the same.
