FanDuel Price: $7,100
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Nikola Vucevic is coming off of a three-point performance and his Orlando Magic have the third-lowest implied team total on the slate. His matchup against the Miami Heat doesn't jump off the page, and it is unlikely he'll be a popular option on tonight's huge slate.
Why You Should Use Him:
Vucevic had been on an absolute tear to start February, averaging 38.3 FanDuel points in the seven games prior to his dud against the Dallas Mavericks. To be fair, Dallas has one of the best defenses against opposing bigs, so his 19.5-FanDuel-point performance can likely be chalked up as an outlier rather than a norm.
He'll look for a bounce-back performance against the Heat, who have allowed the fourth-most points in the post this season after allowing a league-worst 0.96 points per possession in the post last season. They also have been a fairly pedestrian rebounding team, despite Hassan Whiteside's gaudy rebounding totals, ranking 19th in rebounding rate as a team.
Vucevic has had no problem capitalizing on Miami's inefficiencies this season, scoring 41.3 and 44.9 FanDuel points in their two meetings. He has big-time upside, which is evidenced by our floor/ceiling tool, which has Vuvevic easily having the highest floor-per-dollar among centers priced over $7,000. He is a prime tournament option in tonight's potential bounce-back spot.
