Ranking Magic Johnson's 13 NBA Seasons
Which seasons rank atop his Hall of Fame career?

10. 1987-88

Now nine years into his career, Magic was in the middle of his prime at the age of 28.

So, let's not act surprised that he maintained such ridiculous averages: 19.6 points, 11.9 assists and 6.2 rebounds. I mean, that was the year Johnson and L.A. took home their third title in four years and fifth in nine seasons.

In 72 games, Magic accumulated 10.9 win shares. Per 48 minutes, that's .199 win shares and a player efficiency rating of 23.1. For those reasons, among others, Magic was part of the All-Star game and ended the season a five-time NBA champion.
