FanDuel Price: $7,300
No team is expected to see a bigger boost from game script tonight than Nicolas Batum's Charlotte Hornets, who are projected to outscore their season average by almost seven points against the Phoenix Suns. Their 111.5-point implied team total is the second-highest on the slate and that should come as no surprise, given Phoenix's 28th-ranked defensive efficiency and fourth-ranked pace of play.
Batum has performed much better in positive game scripts over the past two seasons, averaging 37.7 FanDuel points when playing with an implied team total of at least 110 points, as opposed to 31.1 in all others. He's also averaged 35 FanDuel points when playing with an over/under of at least 215 points.
Against a Phoenix team that has allowed the third-most FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards, Batum should be able to take full advantage of the positive game script. He's an excellent high-upside tournament target.
