FanDuel Price: $7,200
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Nikola Vucevic has played less than 30 minutes in four of his past six games, three of which have went for under 30 FanDuel points. With the likes of Hassan Whiteside (if healthy), Rudy Gobert, Dwight Howard, Al Horford, and Alan Williams all likely to see some ownership, Vucevic shouldn't be overly popular.
Why You Should Use Him:
While Vucevic has posted some duds recently, he also has reminded us of his upside, with five performances 37-plus FanDuel points in his last eight games. A matchup against a Miami Heat team that he has posted FanDuel totals of 41.3, 42.9, and 44.9 against this season should help Vucevic realize that upside tonight.
A matchup against Miami doesn't jump off the page initially -- they've allowed the 10th-most FanDuel points to opposing centers and are middle-of-the-pack with an 18th-ranked rebounding rate. But, they have been worked over in the post, allowing the fifth-most points in the post.
They were also inept in this regard last season, allowing the highest points per possession in the post. Whiteside is often thought of as an elite defender due to his shot-blocking abilities, but he struggles with consistency on the low block and has also struggled keeping up with centers who can stretch the floor.
Vucevic's sometimes inconsistent role as part of head coach Frank Vogel's rotation make him hard to trust in cash games, but the upside is certainly there in this matchup. He's one of the best tournament options on the board tonight.
