The 6 Best NBA Performances From Last Week: Anthony Davis Downs the Pistons
Without Boogie Cousins, the Brow had no problem with the Pistons' front line. Who else had a top performance last week?

1. Anthony Davis vs. Detroit Pistons

So far, it's been quite interesting to follow the Anthony Davis/DeMarcus Cousins experiment in New Orleans. However, Wednesday night, we got our first dose of it absent Cousins, who was suspended for picking up yet another technical in his previous contest. What that meant was a ton of AD, who did not disappoint with 33 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists in 36 minutes.

Davis was super efficient in accomplishing his monster line, hitting 11 of 17 from the floor and 11 of 11 from the line. That combination amounted to a true shooting percentage of 75.5% and an offensive rating of 148.1. Defensively, Davis also blocked a shot and held opponents to 85.7 points per 100 possessions. The Pelicans held the Pistons to 86 points as they scored 109 in the blowout home win.

Davis ended the game with a nERD of 68.07, the best of the week.
