The 2016-17 season has been a breakout campaign for Eric Bledsoe. The Phoenix Suns point guard has been one of the bright spots in a down year in the desert, averaging career highs with 21.4 points and 6.4 assists per game. He is also averaging an impressive 37.4 FanDuel points in Phoenix's uptempo system.
Since the All-Star break, Mini-LeBron has cooled off a touch but has still posted two 40-plus fantasy point nights in his past five games. With an over/under of 230 points, the Suns game versus the Los Angeles Lakers will be filled with points and the potential for Bledsoe to get back on track.
Using Rotoviz's game splits app, we see that Bledsoe has played in just three games this season where the expected point total was 230 or higher. In those shootouts, he has averaged significantly more fantasy points, posting 41.8 FanDuel points.
The matchup with the Lakers, a team that allows the second-most fantasy points to point guards, has been a juicy one for Bledsoe. In two of the three games he has played against L.A. this year, the 27-year-old has scored at least 55 fantasy points. Just three weeks ago, in a 137-101 Phoenix win, the point guard posted a triple-double with 57.5 FanDuel points.
