The 12 Best Individual NBA Playoff Performances Over the Past 30 Years
Who has been the most dominant for their team when it matters most?

3. Sleepy Floyd, 5/10/1987

Back in the days of Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, not many can say they got the best of the showtime Lakers, if even for a game. One of the few, however, is one Sleepy Floyd.

A member of the 1986-87 Warriors, Floyd put the team on his back in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals, yielding 51 points, 10 assists and 5 steals in 44 minutes.

While dealing with a great point guard on the other end, Floyd worked out an offensive rating of 160 of his own with an assist percentage of 38.5%. His efficient shooting added up to a true shooting percentage of 79.3% and a Game Score of 49.1. Golden State won the contest 129-121, but lost the series in five games. No shame there -- the Lakers would continue their run and win the NBA title.
