FanDuel Price: $4,800
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
With the roll Karl-Anthony Towns has been on, it will be hard to not plug him into your center position. If players shy away from him, there are a handful of mid-range choices -- Nerlens Noel, Myles Turner -- that will get a look before Robin Lopez.
His erratic and unpredictable play, plus the constant shuffling of the Chicago Bulls rotation lately will also leave Lopez off many players' list of options at center.
Why You Should Use Him:
Not known for his offense -- a career average of 8.7 points per game -- Lopez has been on one of the better offensive runs in his career. He has reached double-figure scoring in 14 of his last 16 games, averaging 13.1 points. That foundation of points -- combined with his average of 6.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks -- has helped the center reach or blow past 5x value in eight of those games.
Since February 16, he has six games with at least 20 fantasy points and is averaging 22.9 FanDuel points in his last eight. In a prime matchup with the Houston Rockets, Lopez will be in great position to make it four in a row.
The Rockets not only allow the seventh-most points per game in the NBA (108.4), which would be a boost for Lopez alone, but they also give up the third-most fantasy points to opposing centers. When the Bulls and Rockets faced each other five weeks ago, Lopez put up 27.2 FanDuel points while posting a 7-point, 11-rebound, 2-block line.
