3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 3/14/17

If tonight's game between the Brooklyn Nets and Oklahoma City Thunder remains relatively close (as Vegas implies, with the Thunder favored by only six points), Russell Westbrook has a very real chance at posting one of the highest fantasy scores of the season.

Westbrook's numbers this season are unlike anything we've seen in the modern NBA. He has 32 triple-doubles in 66 games, and he is averaging a league-high 31.9 points to go with 10.5 rebounds and 10.6 assists per game on the season. He's on pace to average the most FanDuel points per game for any player since the 1985-86 season.

His 42.2% usage rate is on pace to be the best in NBA history, his 56.1% assist rate is on pace to rank second, and he has already cracked 70 FanDuel points in 10 games this season. Any way you want to look at it, his numbers are everything you could ask for from a fantasy standpoint.

The Nets make for a terrific matchup. They rank 28th in both defensive rating and rebound rate while also playing at the league's fastest pace this season. That has them allowing the league's second-most fantasy points per 48 minutes to point guards, and it gives Westbrook an absurd amount of upside.
