4. Arvydas Sabonis, Portland Trail Blazers (1995-96)

At 31 years old, Arvydas Sabonis, standing 7'3" out of Lithuania, went 24th overall to the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1995 draft. That year, the Trail Blazers won 44 games and made an appearance in the NBA playoffs, while Sabonis posted averages of 14.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 23.8 minutes.

He wasn't a purely full-time player, but Sabonis still managed 8.4 win shares by reeling off .233 per 48 minutes of action. Naturally so, the All-Rookie performer earned a PER of 24.7 in shooting 54.5% from the field on the season.
