3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Basketball Plays for 3/30/17

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, SF, Brooklyn Nets

FanDuel Price: $4,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has played well recently and continues to be underpriced, but is one of the few small forwards not in a terrific matchup tonight. Elite options LeBron James and Jimmy Butler should be popular in a head-to-head matchup. In the mid-range, both Andrew Wiggins and T.J. Warren will likely be chalky.

Most won't feel the need to roster Hollis-Jefferson in a so-so on-paper matchup against the Detroit Pistons.

Why You Should Use Him:

FanDuel refuses to raise Hollis-Jefferson's salary despite four straight games with over 31 FanDuel points. The talented youngster has played a lot of power forward for the tanking Nets, which has resulted in a spike in his rebounding totals. He has averaged 10.8 boards over his past four games and has double-digit rebounds in 4 of his past 10.

The Pistons have been moving away from Jon Leuer as the season progresses, giving more playing time at the four to the more offensive-minded Tobias Harris, who will likely spend a lot of time defending Hollis-Jefferson. While Leuer ranks 31st among power forwards in DRPM, Harris boasts a -0.82 mark that ranks 88th among power forwards.

Despite his recent strong play, Hollis-Jefferson isn't a must in cash games due to the depth at small forward. The Nets have given him just 21.5 minutes per game over their past four, which makes his recent productivity seem unsustainable. However, if you have a player regularly crushing value and likely to have low ownership, it's hard to not give him a look in tournaments.
